Best bet for the horse racing at Newmarket this evening

If you a regular visitor to the site (thank you) you will know the drill, a two-year-old in making debut at Newmarket today from the yard of Charlie Appleby so it has to be backed. The colt in question is Kingdom Of Time and he runs in the mile Elite Universal British EBF Maiden Stakes at 6.20.  Oddyssey makes his fourth start having finished third in the G.2 Superlative Stakes at big odds last time and is duly short here; that said he couldn't get anywhere near City Of Troy or Haatem and might not be as good as that result suggests on paper. With that colt here though it does mean the Charlie Appleby runner is available at 11-4 and that may prove a big price. A son of  Dubawi out of Via Condotti (Galileo) he cost 800,000 Guineas as a yearling. Sire needs no introduction whilst the dam was a winner in France who hails from a good family that has produced plenty of 100+ rates winners; Kingdom Of Time is her first foal. All being well this one will be raring to go on debut.

Be lucky
