Godolphin had a number of runners entered on Tuesday but only one is actually going to run and that is Fast Landing from the yard of Saeed bin Suroor in the Wyg (Gee) Handicap at 5.20 up at Newcastle. The gelding hasn’t been seen for 455 days but was shaping like a potentially decent horse before his lay-off. Green on debut in November 2016 he improved to finish runner-up over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton and was then off the mark at the third time of asking over the same C&D in January 2017 when fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. There is every chance he will turn out to be better than the 85 he is currently rated meaning he should be able to win this little heat. It is hoped he is primed and ready to go on his return as I have the 5-4 overnight bpg.
