Best bet for the horse racing at Lingfield Wednesday 25th April

With all the racing going on at the moment, don’t forget Next Destination out at Punchestown tipped on Monday at 2-1, the meeting at Lingfield tonight isn’t the first place many would have been looking for a bet today. That’s not the way we think at Triple G Towers and I have one for later.

The two runs of Jonjo O’Neill trained Spiritual Man on the Tapeta at Dunstall Park this year don’t jump off the page at you, the gelding was sixth of twelve in a handicap at Wolverhampton on the 9th but the bare form does not tell the whole story. My notes read ‘Appeared to be making headway over 1f out. Fran Berry reported he was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.’ The six-year-old makes his polytrack debut at Lingfield this evening in the 1m2f Play Blackjack At 188bet Casino Handicap at 7.55. Rated as high as 120 over the sticks last year a mark of 60 here would look very lenient if the gelding finds a little form (as a rough rule of thumb take-off 30lb from code-code) and I think he has every chance of running into a place which at 25-1 makes him an each-way punt for me.

Be lucky
