Godolphin and Saeed bin Surror have been patient with Welsh Lord, there are only two runs to the greys name, and I wanted to back him at Lingfield today but couldn’t get on at Evens last night with BET365 and he’s odds-on now.
I will be having a punt today over at Triple G Towers local track Chelmsford City. The race is the lucky last of the day the 8.45 Sound Financial Planning Handicap. To my eyes, the Charlie Hills trained Gemini appeared to have plenty left in the tank when winning for the first time at Bath last week. She gets in here without a penalty and is effectively actually 3lb lower than when winning as Jason Watson couldn't claim in that race but does get his 3lb here. Her runs to date suggest she should enjoy the step-up to the 1m6f trip, and her liking for being up with the pace is no bad thing round here. She has drifted a little in the betting but I am on at 2-1 bpg.
