Best bet for the horse racing at Chelmsford City Thursday 10th December
The bet I mentioned briefly in a post earlier today will run at Chelmsford City on Thursday evening and I am on at the price overnight as I won't be surprised if this one shortens.
The race is the 1m2f tote.co.uk Now Never Beaten By SP Handicap at 7.00 and the horse to be on the top-weight Power Of States at the 7-4. The Hugo Palmer trained gelding has been improving leaps and bounds for his visits to Essex recently, completed a hat-trick of C&D wins last week and his career course record reads four wins and a second from five visits; he likes the Essex air. I think he can nick this before the handicapper finally catches up with him. Being drawn six of six doesn't overly concern me as he likes to come from behind and all being well he can swoop late again. Yard is in form and young Cieren Fallon is in the saddle.
