We now know they won’t race here in the UK until Monday 1st June at the earliest, but they are racing regularly out in France and having had a winner there Monday I think I have another for Wednesday. The race in question is the 6f Group Three Prix Texanita due off at 1.12 over at Chantilly.
Wooded is very much on the shortlist having placed-up in what might prove a couple of decent G.3’s as a two-year-old staying on in both; the drop in trip puzzles me. Of those with form at three Wanaway won a Listed 5½f heat here at Chantilly in March by a cosy looking length from Abama in second with My Loves Passion 2¾ lengths back in third. I ca see no obvious reason to suggest the placings can be flipped around here and the filly looks a decent bet to me at 9-2 overnight.
