Best bet for day two of the William Hill St Leger Festival at Doncaster

I left day one of the William Hill St Leger Festival at Doncaster alone but will be getting involved on day two, Thursday.

It’s another Godolphin Saeed bin Suroor inmate, I have backed a few of his recently, in the shape of Dubai Beauty who is fancied at 7-2 for the Group Two May Hill Stakes over a mile at 2.25. She is a Frankel half-sister to 7f/1m winner Petticoat (102). Sire needs no introduction and the dam, Minidress, won her maiden before racing at G.3 and Listed level in her short four-race career on the track. This filly won a seven-furlong Newmarket novice event on debut last month pretty impressively and though the form of the race hasn’t proved magnificent yet and probably won’t, to my eye she looked potentially very good. Get on you beauty!

I honestly think it is a tricky few days racing at Doncaster and out in Ireland for their Champions meeting this weekend so will be treading lightly for the next few days.

Be lucky
