Best bet for day one of the Punchestown Festival

The big end of season Jumps meeting in Ireland gets underway on Tuesday with day one of the Punchestown Festival. The have three Grade One races on the card but with Facile Vega and Energumene both odds on I'll be watching those races rather than punting. The other Grade One is the 3m½f Dooley Insurance Group Champion Novice Chase at 6.35. There are two or three in here with questions to answer at the moment, Appreciate It and Sir Gerhard arguably disappointing at Cheltenham and Journey With Me not guaranteed to get home. Classic Getaway is the young pretender in the line-up arriving off the back of one Chase run, a win in a Beginners Chase over 2m4f at Gowan Park back in November.  He won over the trip in a point-to-point as a four-year-old and might be able to take advantage of the fact he arrives fresh with the others all having had hard seasons. Jockey bookings suggest he isn't the Mullins first-string but we al know that doesn't necessarily mean a thing in reality. I have taken a chance at 7-2 BPG this morning.
