Ante-Post punts for the Sheema Classic and All-Weather Sprint Final 2020

Charlie Appleby has been discussing his team for the Dubai Carnival and one that really made my ears price up was Ghaiyyath. Any regular visitor to the site will know I am a fan of the horse and I was very interested to read what Appleby had to say. Appleby said: "History shows us he goes well fresh and he puts in a big performance off a layoff but we also now think that he doesn't like soft ground. It was perfect for him in the d'Harcourt but it was much too soft when he was turned over in the Ganay. He was very impressive on good, fast ground in Germany but it was a different story in the Arc, where it was slow and he just couldn't quicken through it. Hopefully the good ground at Meydan will suit him perfectly and the plan is to take him straight to the Sheema Classic." Get on at the 7-2 that is on offer with Coral and Hills about him for the Sheema Classic on 28th March.

Another ante-post punt I have had is Kachy for the All-Weather Sprint Final at Easter. He hasn’t run yet this winter but I took the 4-1 with Coral as quite frankly as far as I am concerned if he shows up surely he wins going on last years form. He was due to run at Wolverhampton recently and didn’t but I am not too bothered by that and Coral cut him to 5-2 even though he didn’t run!

Be lucky
