Acapulco heads entries in the TRM Ballyogan Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday

Acapulco is one of 19 entries in the TRM Ballyogan Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

The four-year-old filly made an impressive winning start for Aidan O'Brien at the Curragh last month but was then forced to miss the Greenlands Stakes at the same track as she developed a temperature.

Acapulco, who won the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot two years ago when trained in America by Wesley Ward, is one of six O'Brien entries in the Group Three over six furlongs.

Alphabet, Asking, Elizabeth Browning, Music Box and Smoulder are still engaged by the Ballydoyle operation. There is a strong British interest in the Ballyogan, with Buying Trouble, Evil Spell, Kassia, Wowcha, Florida Times, Mystic Dawn and Poet's Princess still in contention.
