A look at the horse racing week ahead including the Tingle Creek Chase

It is a big week in the world of horse racing with spectators being allowed back trackside meaning Lingfield, Haydock, Ludlow and Kempton, which are in Tier 2 areas, can open their doors on Wednesday. It will be lovely to have a few people back in the stands and fingers crossed it will all go well, not just for racing but other sports as well.

It is the Tingle Creek meeting at Sandown Friday and Saturday, sadly I will not be there this year – not for the lack of trying to get a ticket – but you can’t win them all I suppose though it will feel very weird not being in Esher. ITV have the main races covered with the rest of the action on RTV. The meeting and the Tingle Creek Chase are the main event this weekend and all the fancies will be on here later in the week; there is Graded action at Aintree to look forward to. All being well Altior will be back on track at Sandown following his recent racecourse gallop at Newbury with Champion Hurdler, and winner at the weekend, Epatante.

There are a couple of potential bets during the week before the big weekend meetings so do check back as they will naturally be put up on here first.

Be lucky
