A look ahead at the horse racing over the coming weeks and months
For many the Jumps game will be their main interest in the coming weeks and months as the winter jumpers return for their summer holidays. Many old friends will be out over the coming weeks and I will naturally be getting involved here and there not least the Cheltenham Festival.
For me though through the winter the All-Weather Championships will be at the forefront of my mind. Season seven gets underway on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 and builds to the £1 million All-Weather Championships Finals Day at Lingfield Park on Good Friday, 10th April 2020. It is not everybody’s cup of tea but I am more of a Flat guy and the racing in the AWC has got a lot better down the years with the likes of Enable and Stradivarius to name just two who have notched their first victories during the Championship. The first of the Fast Track Qualifiers this season is for the three-year-old championship and is at Newcastle on Tuesday the Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Conditions Stakes over six furlongs.
We
also, have the Breeders Cup out in America
the first weekend of November with plenty to get our teeth into there over the
Friday and Saturday evenings.
